• MAGNETISM

One of the most fun projects this school year was the magnetism. As a motivational introduction, we chose an educational program in IQ park Liberec.

There where prepared a lot of interesting experiments and activities for us.
Kids could try all of it and ther realy enjoyed, even older kids were happy to be there.
 

We have prepared 5 sites for kids at school where students could try different kinds of experiments associated with the magnetic field, the magnetic poles, the magnetic force. 

We examined the objects that surround us in school whether they are of a material which is attracted to magnets or not.We examined how the compass work.  

Another interesting activity for children was examining how magnets work in various - conditions: water, sand ...

Some teachers of younger pupils, inserted magnets into the prepared paper model toy cars. For the boys of the class was great fun, move the car, without touching it - so the magnet "work" over the barrier, consisting of a wooden bench or chair.
At some sites the kids were like magicians. The moved objects without touching them, therefore, in such objects that respond to magnets in their hands.


Part of the experiments, teaching, chating and playing were tooken with the help of smart board in other languages, primarily in English. Older children remember words to topic magntism  also in Spanish.

The whole day was a success, pupils were very happy.

Teachers in the end created a methodological notes, which are bilingual (Czech and English), for the case that other colleagues from partner schools would like to try experiments with children.
