EXPERIMENTS ABOUT DENSITY

Our experiment consisted on putting some objects onto a liquid to see if they float or sink.
Our objects were:
- A cork
- A grape
- A coin (5 c.)
- A bigger coin (2€)
- A boiled egg

The first liquid was water.
We saw that only the cork floated on water.

The second liquid was salty water.
We observed that the cork, the grape and the boiled egg floated.

Our first conclusion was that the salty water is denser than water.

The third liquid was oil.
We could see that only the cork floated.

The fourth liquid was honey.
This time the cork, the grape and the boiled egg floated.

The second conclusion was that the honey is denser than oil.
Finally, we compared honey, oil and water and we put them in the same recipient.

Our last conclusion was that the honey is the densest of all, then water and finally oil."
