OBSERVING SPORES

Children of year 4th and year 5th observed how mushrooms reproduce. We took common mushrooms. Mushrooms that have an umbrella shape, a stem and a cap. Spores are produced under the cap. We used a yoghurt container. mushrooms, white cards and water. - We made a hole in the centre of the paper and placed it on top of the yoghurt container. -We put the mushroom on the paper and through the hole so that the stem touches the water in the container. -After three days we picked up the mushroom carefully and observed the paper. -We observed the paper with a microscope. Conclusions: The whiter paper is brown now. ...Spores are brown. We can say mushroom reproduce by spores when they release on the ground.
