LEARNING THROUGH OBSERVATION.

Year 4th observed how our lungs work. We used lungs of a lamb. they blew through the trachea and checked air travelled to the bronchi, bronchioles and alveoli. They were surprised when they saw that after blowing all the lung was inflated. They also understood better the two movements of breathing: inhaling and exhaling.

Year 5th observed parts of a trout because they were studyng vertebrates. The sa and touch and opened a trout to see the gills, the different fins, the tail, the spine. All of them said trout was gelatinous and slippery.
