The Green mission 

Green initiatives, "We love our school garden" related to the Comenius project - planting fruit trees donated by our partner secondary school LIBVERDA. One of the apple is a symbol of project - "COMENIUS TREE"

For the first, we introduced with each activities. All children discouses together how important is to eat fruit and vegetable. Most of children like an apple the most.

Each class got its own fruit tree. Children could chose among apple, plum or pear. Their also picked up gardening tools and strong, older helpers.

Teacher of computing tried all our activities recorded. It sometimes wasn´t easy job to did.

All of us were looking forward to help, even our trendy girls didn´t make  fusses and put on boots.

Some of teachers though they teach different subject than craft, tried to help and learn children how to use gardening tools, one of them is our music teacher. She is very skilled, she plays piano, quitar, drums, flute. She has got her band and she also can work on the garden as well. Well done Dášo :)

 

The oldest children who will leave us next year, they are going to start study secondary school were very helpful especialy during the hard work as digging with a pickaxe was.

 Children were pleased, how well did they done their job. They promised to look after their fruit tree. All each classes planted trees in front of the widows of their parent classroom.

  

 

Girls remembered well, that one of the most important activity during planting is enough water. So there were teams which looked after garden watering cans and there were still bringing water for watering. 

All of us worked as a team, we liked it, we were hopefully successful so we will hope to enjoy other activities of not only COMENIUS PROJECT :)
