Year 2 testing materials

Year 2 at Parson Street have been designing and making vehicles! They listened to the story of 'Mrs Armitage's bike' and thought about which materials would be suitable to use for a new bike for Mrs Armitage. Year 2 investigated the question 'which materials make the best wheels' by exploring what different types of vehicles were made from . They tested strawberry laces, paper, tin foil, blu tac and rubber. Here are some photos of the children's experiments and conclusions:
