YEAR THIRD DOING EXPERIMENTS TO STUDY MATTER:

MATTER EXPERIMENT
Matter can be:
-          Solid.
-          Liquid.
-          Gas.
EXPERIMENT PREDICTION
-          Solids have a shape.
-          Liquids don’t have a shape.
-          Gases don’t have a shape.
MATERIALS
-          Stones and ice.
-          Bottle of water.
-          Balloons.
-          Bowls.
-          Glasses.
EXPLAINING THE EXPERIMENT
-          We see and touch ice and stones.
-          We have water in a bottle and we move the water to the glass and then to the bowl.
-          We inflate a balloon, we tie it, and we untie the balloon, the air spreads for all class.

CONCLUSIONS
-          SOLIDS: They keep the shape. Stones and ice.
-          LIQUIDS: They change the shape depending on the container where they are. Water.
-          GASES: They change the shape. They spread and occupy the space. Air.
