Making Stick Stars!
With Christmas fast approaching the children at Forest Club decided to make some 'Stick Stars' to decorate the Christmas trees around school.
We began by going into the school grounds to collect sticks. We only used sticks which we found on the ground - we did not snap any off from trees.
We made a giant stick star in the playground!
The children selected the sticks that they wanted to use and then we taped them together to form a star shape.
We were really pleased with what they looked like!
The last thing we did was to spray them with a little paint to give them a little bit of Christmas sparkle!
